How do I get around Aruba?
Taxis are the most convenient option - there's no Uber or Lyft on the island. All taxis are government-regulated with set rates, and drivers speak English. Most tourists find this the easiest way to explore.

Taxis are readily available at the airport. The fare to the hotel area is about $25-30. No need to book in advance - just follow signs to the taxi stand when you exit the airport.
Do I need to rent a car?
Most guests find taxis more convenient and affordable than renting a car. Parking can be limited, and taxis eliminate the need for a designated driver. Plus, they're easily available at hotels and attractions.
